A Simple Glow-Up Season: Faith, Motherhood & Confidence

If you’re a busy mom trying to grow, you probably get this. Life is full. Kids, home, everything in between… it adds up fast. Somewhere along the way, you look up and realize you’ve kind of been in survival mode for a while. That was me.

I’ve been living in t-shirts, messy buns, and doing what I needed to get through the day. And listen… I still love a good pajama day 😂 But lately, I’ve started feeling like I want a little more for myself again.

Not in a “completely reinvent my life” kind of way. Just in a “hey… maybe I should start taking care of myself again too” kind of way.

Can you relate to that at all?

Maybe you’ve spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you barely recognize yourself lately. Maybe your confidence has taken a hit, your self-care has ended up at the bottom of the list, or you just haven’t felt like you in a long time. I think a lot of moms end up there without even realizing it. And honestly? I think sometimes the smallest changes can help us start feeling like ourselves again.

Stepping Into What God Is Growing

As I’ve been building my creative ministry through Paint & Purpose, things have been shifting. I’m teaching more, leading more, and showing up in a bigger way. And I had this moment where I thought…

If I’m going to step into this next season, I want to feel like the woman I’m becoming.

Not perfect. Not overdone. Just confident enough to show up and own it.

This season feels like a bit of a glow-up, but not in some dramatic way… just small changes that help me feel more like myself again.

The Part I Didn’t Plan

Here’s the funny part… I wasn’t planning to rejoin Mary Kay at all. It just kind of happened.

And honestly, I love that.

Sometimes it’s fun not having every little thing planned out because it leaves room for God to surprise you along the way. This felt like one of those little surprises.

And Mary Kay isn’t random for me… it’s actually a huge part of my story.

It’s where I started building confidence.
It’s where I learned about business.
And it’s even where I gave my life to Jesus… sitting in a pink Cadillac.

That season shaped so much of who I am today.

How This Fits Into My Life Now

I’m not building this as some huge business venture. My heart and main focus are still my paint parties and creative ministry—100%.

This is more like sharing things I already use and love. Kind of like the favorite products we all send our friends 😂 If I genuinely love something, I’ll probably share it.

No pressure. No hard sales. Just real life.

And honestly? Part of this is realizing I’ve let myself go a little over the years. Mom life is no joke. But as I’m working toward bigger goals, leading women, and building something meaningful, I also want to feel good showing up.

Do I still love being comfy? Absolutely. But I also want a few cute outfits again… maybe a little makeup… maybe an actual skincare routine 😂 Just enough to feel more like me… but a new and improved version of myself in this new stage of life.

Let’s Shop Together, Girlfriend

So yes… I’ll be sharing some of my favorite Mary Kay products here and there. Nothing overwhelming… just things I personally use, love, and enjoy.

And if you don’t already have a consultant, I’d love for you to shop my online store 💕 No pressure at all. I’m always happy to help answer questions, give product recommendations, or help you figure out what might work best for your skin type, skincare concerns, or makeup style.

Honestly, I want this to feel like shopping with your best friend… not awkward or pushy.

And if you’d ever want to do a fun online skincare session together sometime, I’d love that too! We can hang out virtually, try products, talk skincare, makeup, self-care, and just have some fun, encouraging, girl time 💗

We Grow in Seasons

Life isn’t one straight path. We grow in seasons. Some seasons stretch you, some build you, and some surprise you. And sometimes it’s the little things that help you step into the next version of yourself.

This is just one of those things for me.

And if it helps me feel better, show up stronger, or encourage another mama along the way… I’ll take that as a win 💕
