Your Story Has Purpose (Even If It Doesn’t Feel Like It Yet)
Have you ever felt like your story doesn’t matter? Maybe you’ve walked through hard things. Maybe you’ve felt lost, hurt, or unsure of who you are. And maybe a part of you wonders, “Why would God use this?” My friend, I want you to hear this clearly: your story has purpose. Not just for you, but for someone else too.
God Can Use Your Story
So many Christian women feel this way. You love Jesus. You feel something stirring inside of you. You want to help others, but you don’t know how. You may even think, “I’m not good enough,” or “I don’t know what to say,” or “My story isn’t that special.” But that’s simply not true. God uses real stories, not perfect ones. The hard parts of your life, the pain, and even the healing… that is often where your ministry begins.
Healing Through Creativity
For me, painting became a place of healing. When life felt heavy, I would sit down, turn on worship music, and just create. And something would shift. I felt peace. I felt calm. I felt closer to God. If you are a Christian creative, you may feel this too. Art is not just art. It can be creative worship. It can be a way to connect with God and process what’s in your heart. And sometimes, the very thing that helped you heal is the exact thing God wants to use to help someone else.
Your Creativity Is Not Random
If you feel drawn to painting, creating, or making something with your hands, that is not random. God placed that inside of you on purpose. Your creativity can encourage someone, bring peace into a room, help someone feel seen, and open the door to share your story. You don’t need a stage, and you don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be willing.
You Can Turn Your Story Into Ministry
This is where so many women feel stuck. You feel the pull. You feel the calling. But you don’t know what to do next. Let me make this simple: you can use your creativity to share your story and point people to Jesus. That might look like hosting a paint night, leading a small group, gathering women in your home, or simply creating and sharing what God is doing in your life. This is what I call creative ministry, and it matters more than you think.
You Are Not Too Late
You are not too broken. You are not too far behind. You are not disqualified. God doesn’t waste anything. Not your past. Not your pain. Not your story. He can use all of it for something meaningful and beautiful.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
If this spoke to your heart, I want to invite you into something special. I’m hosting a 3-Day Kingdom Creative Workshop where I’ll show you how to use your creativity for ministry, share your story in a simple and real way, and lead a Paint & Praise party that is truly centered on Jesus. This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being willing.
